The Systems Developer designs, codes, and develops new financial applications or web based systems and/or modifies existing core financial application systems and web based systems.
Designs, develops, tests, and integrates moderately complex internal and external core and web applications, services, and sites, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting in order to fulfill business needs. Assists in determining cost and schedule of various software projects using current and proven software engineering methodologies. Provides tier III technical support for staff on internal and external core and web applications and systems.
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the application systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Analyzes and resolves problems associated with application systems. Detects, diagnoses, and reports related problems.
Confers with vendors, other IS team members, users, and department managers to determine requirements for new or modified software and hardware. Tests new hardware and software configurations for usability and proper function, including cross-browser functional capability. Develops web security safeguards and technologies. Consistently meets assigned project deadlines and goals.
Partners with vendors on integrating commercial applications with existing infrastructure. Works with vendors to resolve issues, maintain systems, and schedule upgrades.
Creates the documentation of IS development projects including writing and maintaining design, test, and integration documents. Develops user instruction materials when required in an effort to facilitate user understanding and describe methods and procedures used. Develops and maintains technical documentation.
Ensures compliance with IS Security Guideline and procedures, including software development life cycle, change management and applicable state and federal regulation and FFIEC guidelines for development and electronic banking.
Furthers knowledge of current developments in area of technical expertise through continued education, training and personal development. Conducts research and testing of emerging technologies.

Other Duties and
Responsibilities:
Provide after-hours support periodically as scheduled to perform web site maintenance, upgrades, patches, and deployment. Render assistance to answer web systems related questions and resolve problems.
May provide over the phone or classroom training on the use of software applications to end-users in order to minimize recurrence of user-created difficulties. May develop training materials, such as user guides, exercises, or visual displays.
Qualifications:
Education and Training:
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Prior
Experience:
Three to five years of software analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, integration, deployment, support and documentation of core and web based systems following the software development lifecycle, or combination of applicable experience, education, and training which provides the knowledge and skills needed to perform job duties.
Specific Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates strong and productive expertise of object oriented development using C#/VB.NET and ASP.NET 2.0-4.0 web forms and web services. Proficiency in XML, SOAP, AJAX, HTML, and JavaScript is also desired. Expertise in Java web development and J2EE platforms (Apache, WebLogic, and Websphere) will be considered.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills in moderately complex design, implementation, deployment, testing, and support of web sites and applications, including design and development of web technologies in an integrated team of multiple vendors / contractors.
Must have a working knowledge and development and maintenance experience of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and client-server concepts. Working knowledge of Spectrum application software, UC4, Eloquence database, and Pathways Middleware a plus.
Familiarity with UNIX Operating System, UNIX shell scripting, PERL, or Ruby a plus.
Ability to design and develop efficient, highly-available, secure, and maintainable code and strong problem solving skills for updating and troubleshooting existing code.
Ability to facilitate the software development lifecycle through requirements analysis, design reviews, code reviews, engaging in technical exchange meetings, and writing technical documentation.
Determines feasibility of design within the time and cost constraints and adequately estimates due dates. Anticipates and identifies potential environment, system, software, and hardware issues and possible financial and timeframe impact on projects.
Applies strong knowledge of web security best practices and web performance testing using industry tools and methodologies.
Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, while working with customers (internal and/or external, as appropriate) to ensure complete understanding and comprehension of the intent and content of the communication.
Perform multiple high priority tasks simultaneously.
SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
