The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the execution of construction contracts to meet companys objectives of schedule performance, cost, quality, and safety. As well, is responsible for the company-client coordination required throughout the term of the contract. This individual will be responsible for financial performance of projects including preparing and negotiating all owner and subcontractor changes, managing and controlling budget, and costing.
The successful candidate shall possess a Bachelor of Science, Building Construction or Engineering field, along with a minimum of five (5) years managing multiple, large-scale projects (civil, building, industrial), preferably in the Federal Government market. The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge and experience in development, maintenance, and analysis of complex project schedules. Proficiency in P3 and/or P6 is preferred. The candidates shall demonstrate strong customer relations skills supported by exceptional past customer evaluations. Excellent communication and motivational skills, and an ability to effectively manage a project staff and issue resolution without in-person, day-to-day contact, and the independent initiative to ensure the success of projects, is required. The individual shall be dedicated to investing the time required to manage a heavy workload, and will be required to travel to their assigned projects at least monthly. Position requires excellent written and verbal communications, strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of organization, and the ability to work in a team environment.
