ArcSight System Support Engineer

Serve as a ArcSight subject matter expert and administrator. General responsibilities include requirements analysis, prototyping/evaluation and integration of cyber capabilities consistent with development, deployment, administration of ArcSight; coordination of ArcSight framework development with combatant commanders and relevant organizations; develop and recommend improvements to the ArcSight architecture.
This position will have responsibilities that focus on the ArcSight system engineering support for USPACOM and CENTCOM. These responsibilities include recommending, coordinating, and monitoring the personnel associated with maintaining and operating the ArcSight software and related hardware system support. Additionally, this individual will assure that the ArcSight system engineering support monitors the manufacturer's system updates to include software patches, version upgrades, and recommended system hardware improvements; coordinating the installation and testing of these system upgrades and documenting the upgraded system configuration after each modification. This ArcSight system support engineer will report monthly as to the status of ongoing activities at each location and its current and projected status, current and projected travel, and problems and recommended solutions.
Develop and implement the ArcSight Reference Architecture in support of the DoD EoA Phase 1 solutions at USCENTCOM and USPACOM Common Cyber Integration Module (C2IM) construct.
Capture lessons learned on ArcSight framework/reference architecture; communicate and coordinate those lessons with appropriate Combatant Commands and Joint Cyber situational supporting organizations.
Administer the ArcSight implementation in support of CYBERCOM and the USCENTCOM and USPACOM under the JIE .
Provide enhancements to ArcSight implementation as directed.
Assist with the integration of data feeds into ArcSight for aggregation and analysis; coordinate with appropriate organizations and facilities to ensure support of the C2IM framework, COCOM Theater requirements, and US CYBERCOM requirements.
Must have a minimum of 4 years of combined cyber experience in the private sector or within the US government
Must have a minimum of 2 years of ArcSight experience
Must have a Security
certification or equivalent
Must possess a current TS clearance
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess a US Passport
Preference given to candidates with experience at DISA or US Cyber Command
