Our client, a consulting firm in Wayne, is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to handle the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources department. The HR Administrator will assist department managers with routine HR issues in addition to employee file management, background screening for new hires, employee relations, and other administrative tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate has at least five years of human resources experience.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Employee onboarding and orientation
Background screening coordination
Employee termination and record keeping; support the exit interview process
Support company employee communication
Support employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting;
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR office
Assist with the administration of leaves of absence, Workers Compensation, etc.
Prepare employee requested letters
Provide other HR support as needed

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of Human Resources, or relevant administrative, experience
Basic knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local HR laws
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent oral and written communication skills with all levels within, and outside, the company
Ability to work independently and adapt to changes in work environment
Intermediate presentation skills
PHR certification skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
