Job Description: Reports to the Vice President of Operations. Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the organization's buildings, grounds and equipment. Monitors facility security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours, and inspecting equipment to ensure that hazards are not created.
Responsible for organizing, planning, facilitating and directing the operation and maintenance of equipment - including repairs, painting and general building maintenance.
Responsible for inspection of irrigation systems, parking lots, exterior lighting, general condition of walkways, drives, entrances and doors and for directing and maintaining operations and cleaning of the facility.
Performs daily walk-through.
Determines scope and scale of repairs, notifying managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Responsible for initiating purchase requests, and facilitates RFB (Requests for bids) process. Makes calls for services ensuring lowest prices, inspects work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
Responsible for maintaining budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies, contract labor, purchasing and inventory control. Manages record keeping per Standard Operating Procedures and prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Perform or assist with room set-up and breakdowns including dance floor and A/V equipment, cleaning duties including servicing and cleaning restrooms, classrooms, and common areas, gathering and emptying trash, cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Responsible for service contract oversight and performance.
Position may be required to recommend employees to be hired, perform personnel evaluations, and direct and supervise others. Keeps supervisor fully informed regarding work-related activities, relevant issues, upcoming events and potential problems.
Provides appropriate personnel, paperwork and documentation to the supervisor (or designee) and maintains and prepares necessary Facility Maintenance reports. Follows established rules, regulations and procedures for attendance and leave.
Attends staff meetings and maintains communications with staff and volunteers coordinating facility usage across departments. Oversees, plans, and prepares facility employees' work schedules.
Keeps abreast of new products and techniques in the maintenance field and transfers these techniques, where applicable, into actual operation within the building.
Work Environment: Inside and outside work, lifting, climbing ladders, use of cleaning chemicals.
Hours: Monday-Sunday. 22-30 hrs/wk. 1st or 2nd shift.
Pay: $10.00-$15.00 per hour.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
