Your daily responsibilities include:
Demonstrating outstanding internal and external service in accordance with Red Carpet Service program guidelines
Produce large volumes of hot food with recipes
Possesses intermediate knife skills, including dicing, chopping, slicing with various knife tools
Able to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
Communicates ingredient needs to supervisor
Makes responsible judgment calls on levels of production based on business needs communicated by supervision
Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare soups, salads, gravies, sauces, and casseroles
Observes and tests foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing with fork to determine that it is cooked
Attend departmental and company meetings as required
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
High School degree or equivalent work experience related to the nature of the position
Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and/or oral instructions
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and apply to practical situations using measurements/proportions and problem solving
