POSITION Overview:
Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC machinery to fabricate parts and products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Review CAD drawings for accuracy and machinability.
Determine the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine work pieces that meet specifications.
Perform parts layout and programming (Elumatec/Emmegi) of CNC machines, including notching/coping machines to accurately produce parts.
Mount, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and material on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Measure dimensions of finished products to ensure conformance with specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.
Develop fabrication part fixtures that can be used downstream to expedite production.
Review typical features with suppliers to ensure cost effective solutions.
Maintain documentation on all required drawing corrections and on all vendor communication regarding specific part fabrication.
Check to ensure that work pieces are properly lubricated and cooled during machine operation.
Preforms daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery, to include monitoring machines during operation to detect potential issues.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and perform work practices that are safe.
Adhere to company policies and rules across fabrication.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree in CNC Programming, CNC Operation, Mechanical Drafting, or equivalent work experience.
5
years of experience in tool and die making or top level cabinet millwork. Extensive knowledge of CNC part fabrication techniques and processes. Experience with Elumatec programming language desired.
Ability to identify and implement cost savings measures on machined parts.
Understanding of tolerance usage and quality standards.
Demonstrated competency in using table saws, radial arm saws, vertical/horizontal end mills, air drills, and screw guns.

The employee has constant use of hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools. They must frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material. The employee will have frequent repetitive motions and frequently be able to lift or move 25 lbs. The employee has constant requirement of specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus. They must constantly wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the company and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
