Position Description
Specific Duties to be performed:
Works to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms assigned and public areas are clean and well maintained.
Meets service quality standards that affect guest satisfaction.
Responds to guest questions or problems in a timely and professional manner.
Meets hotel's standard for number of rooms inspected daily.
Teaches others to follow proper cleaning procedures and keeps room status reports current.
Assists with room assignments in the absence of supervisor and directs Team Members when needed.
Ensures that every room meets standards prior to guest occupancy.
Cleans, prepares and inspects guest rooms prior to guest arrival, during their stay and upon check out, ensuring that each guest is satisfied with the level of cleanliness and service.
Maintains prescribed standards of cleanliness for assigned areas using approved cleaning solutions and procedures.
Stocks and restocks Room Attendant carts and work stations with sheets, pillowcases, towels and all amenities.
Signs out floor key and reports to assigned area.
Turns in daily housekeeping reports to Executive Housekeeper at end of the shift.
Duties also include: vacuuming, sweeping, dusting all room surfaces, properly changing bed linens, sanitizing and cleaning bathrooms, mirrors, windows, fixtures and floors daily.
Supplies guest room with all amenities, linens, and special items as requested.
Reports linens and supplies used.
Reports status of rooms to front desk in assigned manner for reselling.
Performs additional detailed or occasional cleaning as assigned.
Turns in articles left in room for Lost and Found handling following hotel procedures.
Ensures that all appliances in room are set at correct setting for guest comforts and hotel efficiency.
Reports any discrepancies in room status to Executive Housekeeper or Supervisor.
Position Requirements
Must have a flexible schedule and ability to work days, evenings or nights any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Must have exceptional guest service skills and can communicate will with all guests.
Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks in a busy environment and remain flexible.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Must have the ability to communicate in English, bi-lingual is a plus.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to move throughout building, bend, stoop and reach to assist other staff members, i.e., room attendants, housepersons, and inspectors to complete their individual tasks if situation demands.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
