years Previous experience, in an office environment with general office and distribution responsibilities. Responsibilities Person is to assemble and pack merchandise for shipment and prepare shipments according to customer instructions in an office environment with general office and distribution responsibilities. Ability to work independently. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The position requires accuracy, common sense, and flexibility. Have Reasoning Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, and oral, form. Ability to do basic math. Ability to solve elementary day to day problems that arise. Ability to read and write basic English. Ability to coordinate a variety of routine projects and activities simultaneously. Ensures that all parts and literature needed to assemble products are in stock. Ensures that all shipping supplies needed are in stock. Reports any shortage of supplies for products or shipping according to established order point to Service Manager. Keep warehouse neat and clean. You Must Be Able To: Must be able to operate a forklift. Must possess a valid NJ Drivers License, The main responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Person are as follows: Handle all shipping and receiving, Ensures that all parts and literature needed to assemble products are in stock, Standing and walking for long periods of time Standing and walking for long periods of time, Carrying and lifting copier equipment to fulfill sales. The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of his/her job.
