Customer Service Supervisor - Recycle Division - Norcross, GA
Purpose:
The position purpose is to provide first line management of the customer service support team of 10-15 colleagues and to ensure the successful management and integration of new accounts into the Atlanta hub.
Responsibilities:
The Customer Service Supervisor will assist the Manager, South Trading in developing, administering and improving standardized processes. Identify deficiencies in methods and implement processes to correct, streamline processes and expand systems capabilities.
On-board new accounts; manage special interest/sensitive accounts within the region book of business.
Daily supervision and management of staff while ensuring quality of service at all levels of the department's responsibilities including shipping, order entry and relationship managements.
Handle all escalated customer issues facilitating optimum relationships between the department and customers, brokers and carriers.
Monitor and track metrics for team members assuring quality and accuracy of transactions.
Participate as a member of the Trading management team to determine strategies for supply, interacting with various departments within the recycle division and provide consolidated information and assessments from the team's activities.
Provide administrative support for goal setting, vacation scheduling, time and attendance
review, overtime approval, training, performance evaluations and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Supervisory experience preferred
College degree highly preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills with Excel, Word and Outlook.
