TheDirector of Financial Planning and Analysis,ITwill fill a key role within the Finance organization. This position will have primary responsibility for the critical financial analysis, oversight, and partnership with multiple leaders across the IT organization, to assist in driving business decisions based on fact-based financial data and analytics. The ideal candidate will have exceptional financial competence, strong business acumen, executive presence and leadership capabilities, deep knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques, critical thinking proficiency, and exceptional communication skills. The candidate must be customer centric and be able to balance the demands of a rapidly growing, complex entrepreneurial environment where ingenuity, rather than precedence, drives how things should be done. The candidate must have demonstrated the ability to build a professional and accountable organization for the long term while at the same time delivering results in the short term. This candidate must be self-sufficient and confident in their ability to steer the company in delivering on its long term business model.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Provide strategic financial leadership to the business on operational performance and processes.
o Serve as a key business partner to the IT infrastructure & development teams.
o Leadership of a high-functioning team.
o Oversee the development of flash and dashboard reports.
o Presentation of financial results/reports to non-financial audiences.
o Work with business partners to design/execute business and accounting solutions to complex issues.
o Conduct in depth analysis on functional projects to include NPV and Return on Invested Capital assessments of investment options and establishing prioritization for investment decisions.
o Deliver all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting to include monthly actual, quarterly rolling forecast, and annual operating plans in support of IT organizations.
o Ownership for business scenario modeling related to IT enterprise design and execution that includes responsibility for process and compliance support and key controls implementation and monitoring.
o Drive automation of all IT focused financial and operational reporting processes.
o Monitor effective financial internal controls to include the continued evaluation and establishment/ modification of policies and procedures as required.
Qualifications:
o A proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
o Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA, CPA, CMA viewed favorably.
o 10 years experience in a high growth or transformational environment with similar responsibilities.
o Ability to drive projects to closure.
o Deep financial planning, data mining, and modeling expertise.
o Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
