This is a 3-6 month project (Contract)
Perform basic measuring tasks with calipers and micrometers Pass color perception test Pass basic computer skills test (Excel & Word) Solve basic math problems Exhibit strong decision making skills Must correctly approve/reject sample parts to a known standard Pass Forklift license test within 30 days Must pass written test with a score of 80% or better Ability to read, write and speak effectively along with basic mathematical skills required. High school diploma or GED
Perform work of equal or lower grade, as directed in training of inexperienced personnel or retraining as needed of experienced.
First piece approval audits.
Final audit of parts for shipment when required.
Investigate defects found in department.
Knowledge of the in-process requirements of the parts used in other departments.
Must be able to distinguish color tints using the Macbeth Light.
Record findings on data sheets and charts as needed.
Identify problems and notify responsible personnel to request corrective action.
Other duties may be assigned by Operations Manager.
Complete process audits.
Complete Quality Audit sheet as required by control plan.
Knowledge of requirements called out in control plans.
Collect statistical data using check fixtures, scales, micrometers, calipers, etc where applicable.
Record findings on data sheets and control charts.
Identify problems and notify responsible personnel to request corrective action.
Label audits as required.
Meet TS16949 requirements
Housekeeping as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
