Position: Production Manager
The position of Production Manager will supervise all production (including Studios & Control Rooms) and management of Production Staff/Scheduling (Including Directors & Studio Technicians). Interface with Engineering for technical maintenance, interface with News for support of newscast production, and interface with Promotions/Creative Services, Sales, and Web for support of graphics, tech facilities and special programs as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience in Operations and Directing.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong problem solving skills set. Hands on knowledge of state-of-the-art production and editorial systems including Broadcast Pix switching, Grass Valley Ignite production, Avid iNEWS and editing platforms from Avid is a must. Must have skills, knowledge, aptitude, and experience with computers beyond those of the average end-user.
Flexibility to work various shifts and or weekends is required. Strong communications skills are a must.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
