eBay Inc. seeks, Business Systems Analyst in La Vista, Nebraska.
Job Duties: Responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams (business users, functional analysts and SAP administrators) to improve the functionality of the corporate systems. Work effectively with cross functional teams (Business users, functional analysts, project teams and architects). Provide solutions pro-actively to enhance user experience and implement scalable applications to support the new acquisitions/business growth. Implement processes to prevent system failures and enhance user experience. Ensure SLAs with business users are monitored and executed. Help team become better by bringing new skills, concepts and demonstrate ideas by building POC.
Provide on call support (on rotation basis) when needed. Responsible for functional design and QA reviews from 3rd party vendors and ensure quality product is released to production. Provide application support during off hours and work with offshore team when required. Drive standards and implement processes/procedures to improve the maintainability of SAP systems. Responsible for supporting, maintaining and development of SAP MM, AP, CO, GL, SD, AR and month end close consolidation applications. This position has no direct reports and does not supervise/manage other staff.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and six (6) year of experience in job offered or six (6) years of experience in software engineering or program analysis or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Computer Science or Engineering or closely related quantitative discipline and eight (8) years of experience in job offered or eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering or program analysis.
Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include: BizAps invoice processing tools (Supplier portal and Invoice approval portal) and integration of OCR solution with SAP; developing and supporting SAP HR; Payroll; Concur interface to submit expenses and HR applications running on ECC 6 or earlier versions; Configuring, supporting SAP SRM, SAP GL (including new GL), FICO, AP, AR, Treasury, Fixed Assets and SD applications running on ECC 6.0 or earlier version of R3; Configuring, supporting and maintaining applications using SAP FI, MM modules; and accounting processes. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Will accept 3 year or 4 year foreign bachelors degree.
