Data Warehouse Engineer

Constant Contact is looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to play a key role in a growing Analytics Solutions team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with teammates and business partners while ensuring delivery of high quality business intelligence solutions. This role requires the candidate to demonstrate deep hands-on expertise in data warehousing, data analysis, data transformation and solution design.
Responsibilities Include:
Design, develop, and deliver business intelligence solutions with a high degree of customer satisfaction
Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and design innovative and scalable business intelligence solutions
Ensure data transformation requirements are clearly understood and accommodated
Develop and Document all data transformation jobs and processes according to Corporate ETL Standards and Best Practices
Perform QA on the ETL processes and ensure they meet all standards
Ensure successful completion of user acceptance testing
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of data warehouse development experience in a high-volume parallel processing Data Warehousing environment
Minimum 3 years working with large data warehouse appliances (e.g. Netezza, Vertica)
Experience in business requirements gathering, data analysis, data mapping, and dimensional data modeling
Strong analytical and SQL skills
Experience with logical and physical data model design and best practices. Hands-on experience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, etc.
Experience developing slowly changing dimensions (Types 1, 2, and 3)
Thorough Linux/UNIX skills including shell scripting, perl, python, etc.
Experience with integrating cloud solutions through use of REST and SOAP APIs
Additional Skills:
Netezza experience
Experience with the IBM Analytics Platform and Cognos development
Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive
Exposure to performing in agile, self-directed team environments
Familiar with Master Data Management (MDM) discipline and IBM Information Server QualityStage
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and build strong working relationships
Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication
Commitment to deadlines and willingness to meet the needs of 24x7 environment
Experience using IBM Information AnalyzerEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
