This position is located in Hernando, MS.
We are looking to fill an Operator opening at our Valvoline plant in Hernando, MS. As an operator you will be responsible for selecting product from warehouse slots by picking from pick sheets. Retrieves labels for selecting purposes and product identification and shipment to customer.Safely operates an electric pallet jack and performs repetitive lifting throughout the course of the shift. Order Selectors are required to follow all safety methods, policies and practices in the warehouse including house keeping, and documentation of production.
Successful candidates will have the following:
Load/Unload trucks, trailers, containers as required
Pick, load, and sort all delivery orders within specified service times.
Use and understanding of basic mathematical computations
Be able to comprehend data from process and make adjustments as necessary.
Assist with inventory counting and reconciliations
Maintain appropriate housekeeping.
Operate Fork-lift equipment according prescribed training, qualification and certification
Demonstrated knowledge of loading/unloading storage racks.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Able to work flexible shifts.
Must be able to comprehend and follow all applicable operating procedures and safety guidelines for the area and facility.
Perform necessary quality checks and record information as required.
Be able to participate in incident investigations and team projects.
High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Must be able to work in the United States.
