Description/Job Summary
MidAtlantic Farm Credit, ACA, an established farm/rural home lender has an internship opportunity available immediately in Salisbury, Maryland.
This is a paid internship and involves supporting the Association staff with technical assistance and assisting the IT department with various projects. Creates and helps to maintain a centralized Asset/Inventory list of all IT equipment throughout each office. Assist with various projects including:
The Annual Computer Rollout
The Annual Branch Security Audit
Business Continuity Program enhancements
Report modification and verification
Annual Security Awareness training for staff
Annual diagrams
Documenting IT standards/procedures
Preferred Skills
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Databases/Query building including MS Access, SQL or Oracle is a plus.
Required Education
Candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in a college or university. Enrollment in Information Technology or related course classes is preferred.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be entrepreneurial, self-starter, detail oriented and a team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed.

Estimated weekly hours are 40 hours a week during the summer.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
