The mission of Amadeus' RDM team is to design and deliver the high performance systems that compose the architectural, transactional, and services core of our technology. Our RDM systems are the backbone of our PaaS offering. They include the ability to process tens of thousands of reservations and ticketing requests per second. Ticketing is a complex system of technology, used by various distribution channels, and executed via many types of devices (mobile, kiosk, internet). The ticketing chain begins with the traveler experience during shopping and culminates when the flight is flown and the financial settlement is secured. The domain includes: fares and regulatory elements (e.g. taxes, fees, commissions), secure payment execution (e.g. credit card, settlement agencies, electronic wallet), issuance of electronic sales documents, and revenue accounting.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for talented associate software engineers to join our R&D; team ! Our highly skilled product definition and associate software engineers collaborate with our regional customers and with our global R&D; and Operations centers to define, design, and deliver high-quality, innovative availability solutions.
Software design, documentation, development, implementation and unit test of software modules for new functionality and enhancements
Architecture design, innovation, technology forecasting
Performance analysis, optimization, delivery of quality software
Hardware capacity analysis
Qualifications:
0-3 years of software experience
0-3 years of software design and development experience in Unix/Linux environment
Strong competencies in data structures, distributed computing, and data storage
Extensive programming experience in C++
Strong skills in Oracle, SQL, UML Modeling
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, identify, resolve project issues quickly and effectively within a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
