Individual will serve as specialist in manufacturing and process development. Impacts the company cost savings and extents support to functional areas of operations.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serve as a specialist in the application of machine process data to identify and reduce machine down time, product costs, and business objectives.
Plan projects in a systematic way, identifying and organizing all activities, including those of other functional areas, into time-dependent sequencing with realistic but aggressive timelines.
Utilize access to management of supporting departments to anticipate roadblocks and resolve issues.
Supervisory experience to help mentor floor supervisors and current operators.
Serve as a technical asset to interpret machine signs from the G code providing the signals.
Effectively build teams and motivate the team members even though adverse conditions.
Identify and implement cost savings opportunities within manufacturing cells of responsibilities.
Solicit and implement requests of production operators to support high service levels for production.
Challenge current methods and strives for improvements.
Expected Areas of Competence
Developed communication and diplomacy skill and an ability to persuade and influence.
Demonstrates ownership for integrity of own work and work of the project team.
In-depth understanding of how own specialty integrated with the function, impacts P & L, and has basic commercial awareness.
Ability to handle assignments of any technical complexity.
Demonstrates competence of working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor of Science in mechanical, industrial, or other engineering science.
Minimum of 5 8 years of manufacturing engineering experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
