Position Overview:
The Marketing Assistant is a member of Reinhart's Purchasing department and is primarily responsible for providing support to the Director of Purchasing and Marketing Analyst. This position provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to a key function at Reinhart and grow within our organization.
Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing daily support to the purchasing team under the direction of the Margin Support team. The Marketing Assistant will also be responsible for project management, administrative support, and reporting for the purchasing function of the division. This includes possessing the skills to perform the functions listed below while continuing to structure and develop the department.
Must be an expert with Excel as employee will be using on a daily basis
Oversees vendor audit review reporting discrepancies to the Director of Purchasing.
Research/Review pricing and deviation discrepancies.
Assist with the coordination and planning of marketing activities/events as well as staff relevant events.
Serve as a highly motivated leader and quick thinker that possess the ability to interact with a host of different personalities.
Provide general administrative support to the department.
Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general customer satisfaction.
Strong work ethic. Self motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.
All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline required
Minimum 1 year professional experience providing administrative support, coordinating projects/programs, and/or project management required
Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suites

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
