Perform helper''s work having to do with production operations and processing such as: position light weight materials on conveyor or feed mechanism for continuous processing , or position and/or remove materials to assist Machine Operator, supply containers, light raw materials or perform other like work. Under close supervision.
Loads and moves materials to work area.
Package parts with protective material for shipments per setup or Engineering remarts
Applies masking to articles.
Cleans and prepares surface of articles to be painted.
May operate SST-Ecoat system load control panel.
Racks workpieces on conveyor; and inspects, and transfers finished pieces into or out of department.
May perform inventory transactions.
Cleans work area.
Performs other routine duties.
Perform basic functions on a computer database.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months related experience and/or training is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with other employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10''s and 100''s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
