Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager Cloud & AIP Applications, the Software Developer will develop software products that integrate with Sharp MFP devices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Achievement of solution/software services that maximize MFP sales Unit quota and system dealer development objectives.
Develop software systems, testing procedures, and documentation.
Author requirements documentation.
Create or participate in software architecture and design.
Provide technical support and programming services involving Sharp's OSA application software to Sharp partners in the pre-development phase of creating an integration module to the Sharp MFP. Support may be required in the areas of code construction as well as network connectivity, print and scan system integration, and advanced firmware features/functions involving Sharp's MFP.
Develop OSA integration/middleware for specific target applications to fulfill market requirements.
Directly support Sharp Development Partners advance their systems business in the following areas: Technical Support: Provide primary local pre-sales support for systems involving application development.
Promote Sharp's digital, color and software products that are commensurate with Sharp's Policies and Procedures.
Maintain knowledge of relevant network and software technologies while achieving approved technical certifications.
Educate Sharp OSA development Partners about Sharp MFP native functionality vs. current Sharp OSA technology.
ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
Implement a personal time management system, which assures prompt and accurate response to customer requests for development and technical support.
Provide continual feedback to management regarding project status and new market opportunities.
Comply with time, travel and expense report procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or completion of relevant post-secondary technical and computer related training programs. i.e. Computer technology, computer science, information systems, and programming languages.
Minimum of 4
years in an equivalent development/engineering position with proven sales/support experience.
Experience with C#.Net programming.
Experience specifically with support activity, as well as development.
Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio.Net programming tools and a willingness to explore other programming tools.
A modular and organized approach to maintenance of project code is required.
Familiarity with computer printers and scanners is highly desirable. An understanding of MS VSS, MS SharePoint, MS Team Services, web services, color theory, and graphics applications is desirable.
In depth knowledge of Apple & Android products as well as Windows based computers.
Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Visual Studio.Net programming techniques and a willingness to explore other programming tools.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively verbally, in written and graphic formats.
Experience in working with SDK's for developing custom applications.
Travel will be necessary about 20% of the time.
