General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for an Admin & Program Specialist to join our Network and Telecommunications team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. The selected candidate will provide administrative and operational procedures support for the NCC Watch, part of DHS. Additional responsibilities will be working as surge support supporting the NCC Watch and its Watch Officers during times of crisis or during scheduled & unscheduled events. Key Responsibilities
The Admin & Program Specialist provides support to the NCC Watch and the Watch Officers and government staff supporting the Watch. This role also supports the NCC Operational Procedures Standardization (NOPS) process and its training. Admin & Program Specialist position for the NCC Watch provides administrative support for managing contact and distribution lists, management of the Emergency Notification System (ENS) contacts and maintenance, schedule/coordinate visits and tours, tracking of required training and certification/recertification, on-boarding of new personnel, maintain Watch files (both electronic and hardcopy) including classified documents, issue and inventory all Government Provided Equipment, management of conference call bridges, its distribution lists and usage, compile monthly recurring Watch reports for and metrics, provide support to the Watch for phone overflow and surge support during scheduled and unscheduled incident periods and times of crisis, documentation production (Update/Creation) and weekly & monthly reporting.
Candidate will work as part of a 24 x 7 Watch operations center and will be required to meet the needs of a 24-hour work center. This would include working off-hour and weekend shifts during times of crisis.

Candidates must show a passion for innovation, attention to detail, an understanding of emerging technologies, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve client involvement with its customers, both federal and industry.
The Admin & Program Specialist position requires either a bachelors degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent and zero to two years of related experience.
Department of Homeland Security Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and meet DHS Suitability requirements
Applicants must exemplify excellent analytical skills and demonstrate progressive thinking, effective communication skills in both writing and oral, and an interest in advancing the business opportunities of our client.
Position provides support for a 24x7x365 Watch staff.
Have a strong attention to detail on admin and NOPS issues.
Be familiar with reporting and used of the Microsoft suite of applications.
Provide input for process improvement of admin and NOPS positions.
Comfortable presenting to leadership in both oral and written formats.
Draw heavily upon verbal, written and presentation skills - excellence and aptitude for excellence in these skill sets are required for this position.
During critical events and times of crisis be available to work off-hour shifts and weekends as required to meet contract specifications.
Be available to work additional hours as needed for crisis events, such as communications outages, weather events that may impact communications, drills and exercises and other scenarios the department participates in as required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
