POSITION SUMMARY
The staff Registered Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care assignments on a designated unit utilizing the nursing process. The staff Registered Nurse must be willing to cross train and float to other areas of the hospital to meet the needs of the facility. The staff Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for all nursing care provided to their patients. The Registered Nurse is accountable to the patient, Charge Nurse, Director, and Chief Nurse Executive.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (A D Diploma, BSN, or Master's Degree in Nursing).
2. Current Registered Nurse's license in the State of Kentucky.
3. Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
4. CCRN preferred (ICU) ORN (OR) Pediatric experience preferred (Peds) and PALS. Neurology experience preferred (Neuro)
5. One year experience in critical care areas is required.
6. BLS and NRP certification is required.
7. ACLS and PALScertification within 12 months of hire date. Must maintain appropriate recertification.
