The Job:
Mobile Commons is looking for a Copywriter to join our marketing team to help grow our content marketing strategy. You will be responsible for producing blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, case studies, fact sheets, and other marketing collateral. You will work closely with the marketing team to determine content needs, research new topics, develop content ideas, and execute on deliverables.
This role is perfect for someone with great written communications skills, interested in technology, and excited about joining a fast growing start-up. You should be hungry to learn and passionate about mobile.
This is a contract-to-hire position and on-site in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
Write and edit concise and engaging copy for the Mobile Commons website, factsheets, one-pagers, and any other marketing collateral
Develop content for blog posts, case studies, ebooks, and whitepapers
Work with the Marketing team to develop content concepts and ideas
Produce both long-form and short-form content
Proofread and edit copy created by other members of the team
Learn technical and market information related to the business
Qualifications:
Excellent follow-up and communication skills, verbal & written
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and prioritize work load
Ability to work both independently and in a small team environment
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs
Experience with Wordpress or other content management system a plus
