Job Description: The Accounting Lead- LEAP Program position supports finance practices and objectives that drive a high performance culture emphasizing empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment and, ethics and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.
Accounting Lead - LEAP Program position supports finance policies, procedures and programs, reports to the Division Controller and has responsibilities in these areas:
oFinance data expert for the LEAP program
oFacilitating process improvement within the LEAP program
oVerify accuracy of financial data. Perform analytical reviews of variances. Investigate and resolve as necessary
oCompile monthly supplemental schedules
oAssist analyst in producing monthly customer reporting package
Accountingant Lead - LEAP Program:
oLead cross functional process improvement initiatives that drive performance and efficiencies.
oLiaison between GAAP reporting requirements and customer reporting requirements.
oSupport LEAP analysts in preparation of monthly customer review analytics.
oProvide support for the month end close process. Responsibilities include journal entry posting, income statement review and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation and SOX reporting.
oProvide support for internal and external audit requests.
oProvide analytical and data support for internal management.
oOther special projects as needed.
oSupport will be provided to the LEAP Plants located in Rochester, NH and Commercy, France. This position will work from the NH location.
Experience/Education/Skills: Accounting Lead- LEAP Program Experience Requirements:
o5-10 years of accounting experience in a production/manufacturing environment. Experience in cost accounting a plus.
oSAP or other large ERP experience
oStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
oStrong communication skills
oAbility to work independently in a fast paced work environment
oStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
oAbility to work with cross functional departments
oFrench language skills a plus
oTravel- Less than 10%
Education
oBachelor's degree in accounting
Safety and Procedures of the Accounting Lead - LEAP Program Position
oFollow all publicized safety policies/procedures applicable to the job
oUse appropriate PPE that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis for the department/role
oAttend and participate in all safety training, safety meetings, audits and Behavior Based Safety programs assigned
oReport all safety hazards observed. If capable, correct the safety hazard identified

While performing the responsibilities of the Accounting Lead - LEAP Program, employees must have specific physical capabilities. The employee is required to:
oSit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard on a frequent basis
oOccasionally stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to work with the documentation and work within the business environment
