Summary of Work
Responsible for conducting audits for state agency to ensure accuracy of information provided by employers and assess compliance with North Dakota Century Code.
Specific duties include:
Conducting preliminary audit research
Interviewing clients to learn internal workflow and systems
Documenting, evaluating, identifying problems, and recommending changes to improve client accounting systems
Developing and applying audit tests
Participating in pre- and post-audit conferences
Preparing audit reports
Documenting and communicating results to client
Providing guidance and training for new auditors
