Job Description
STG International is seeking a full-time Health Promotion Coordinator to support Federal Occupational Health facilities in Silver Spring, MD.
Responsibilities will include:
Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement all activities of the Health Promotion Program
Oversee designated health promotion program(s), ensuring that all services under the agreements have been delivered and reported to the appropriate FOH Program Manger
Provide orientation and training in FOH Wellness/Fitness Guidelines and Administrative Policies to specified new providers, delegate this function to appropriate providers and provides oversight
Provide communication to the staff on new policies or changes in old policies or procedures
Ensure that Health Promotion Programs are staffed according to the scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating work loads
Implement or coordinate wellness activities which may include wellness seminars, wellness classes, incentive programs and contests, newsletters and bulletin boards
Coordinate and schedule Health/Wellness Fairs
Coordinate and schedule employee health screenings (e.g. blood draws and health risk appraisals)
Evaluate health risk assessment data contained in Group Assessment Reports to determine the number and type of programs needed
Design and implement health education programs designed to increase awareness and knowledge for the improvement of occupational health
Evaluate programs and provide Progress Reports
Keep up-to-date on changes in health care technology to keep health education program material current
Coordinate and/or ensure that supplies, equipment, files and client records are maintained in properly secured storage
May implement the pre-participation evaluation and annual re-stratification process in accordance with FOHWellness/FitnessGuidelines and Administrative Policies
May implement or coordinate fitness programs - these programs may include components such as fitness assessments and exercise plans
Provide speeches on health topics
Required Skills
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s Degree in Health Promotion or related field or equivalent education and experience (in some cases a BS may be required)
Must possess current CPR/AED and first aid certification
Required Experience
Minimum
Qualifications:
Five (5) years'' experience working in the wellness/fitness field
One (1) year management experience of a Health Promotion program

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
