You will bring strong copywriting skills and the ability to fully manage Hanapin's email marketing functions, from segmentation and targeting to crafting and scheduling specific emails.

Successful candidates will be team players who enjoy working within a tightly knit marketing department in which every action has an impact, exceptional work is easy to spot, and performing well increases the success of the entire team. Attention to detail and the desire to self-direct your own objectives, initiatives, and successes is priceless in this role. A focused, deadline-driven attitude is key, and an interest in metrics and analysis that results in constantly searching for optimizations will be immensely beneficial.
Job requirements and work experience we expect you to have:
Able to work on-site at our Bloomington, IN during normal office hours of Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
1-2 years of email marketing experience
2-3 years experience writing and editing marketing content
Experience with common marketing software such as email marketing systems, Google Analytics, CRM systems such as Salesforce, etc
Fluency in online marketing processes, metrics and terminology
Knowledge of segmenting and testing an existing database for email campaigns
Job Responsibilities
Writing, targeting and sending email communications related to promotional activities, lead nurturing communications, and content offers - 60%
Defining, monitoring, and growing email database and contact segments - 15%
Planning, creating, and structuring email communication sequences and continually refining them for best results - 15%
Assisting with or editing promotional creative copy for Hanapin Marketing and Hero Conf content - 10%

Competitive Starting Base Salary
Second-Second: We give the entire office a three-day weekend with the second Friday of the second month of each quarter off.
Summer Hours: June through August, we close the office 2 hours early every Friday.
Self-scheduled working hours after six months (eight hours per day between 7 am to 7 pm)

Technology: Hanapin is a Mac house. We provide each team member with a MacBook Pro laptop to use
