Job Description and
Responsibilities:
Facility Engineering Services is looking for an experiencedDDCEstimator for new projects.
Thecandidate must be proficient in reviewing mechanical design project drawings as well as MS Office Excel and Word.
Background knowledge of HVAC control systems for Commercial, Institutional, and Industrial buildings will be necessary. Additional training will be provided.
Review plans and specifications to develop cost estimates.
Generate proposals for prospective projects based off of drawing review and cost estimates.
Review of sales publications and bid lists to identify potential opportunities.
Track and follow up on current and upcoming bids.
Maintain correspondence with new and existing customers regarding current and outstanding bids.
Develop of relationships with existing customers and generate relationships with new customers
Assist Energy Manager as assigned to perform energy conservation audits.
Qualifications:
Engineering skills required include knowledge of basic electricity, HVAC systems, electronics, etc.
A minimum of2 years of relevant experience, with some experience in estimating.
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
