The City of Burlington, Colorado is accepting applications for the position of City Administrator.
The City of Burlington (population approximately 4250) is a safe and active rural community located near the Colorado/Kansas border.
This home rule community is represented by a seven member City Council which includes the Mayor.
The City Administrator's duties shall include planning, directing, and coordinating as determined by the Mayor in accordance with the City's Municipal Code.
The administrator shall be responsible for the efficient administration of the affairs of the City.
Compensation shall include a generous benefit package and salary, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000, depending on qualifications.
Minimum qualifications shall include a minimum of five years of municipal management experience or comparable business management as well as personnel management of 25-40 employees.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in administration, capital projects planning and management, and possess strong budget and financial management skills as well as strong public relations skills.
