Position
Summary:
The project manager will project manage, plan, mobilize and direct projects of varying complexity from inception to closure.
Organizational Structure:
This position reports to the Strategic Transformation Project Manager
Performance Objectives:
Lead and manage large scale projects and supporting business transformations.
Act as a role model, demonstrating active leadership and strong communication.
Have end to end responsibility for all aspects of the project, defining and planning the project, managing mobilization, controlling execution and managing implementation, change and benefits realization. The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
Experience with data analytics, statistical modeling and/or management consulting is welcome
Exposure to insurance company operations preferably in an underwriting or claims capacity
Understanding of the vocabulary used within Insurance and ability to engage stakeholders in meaningful insurance related dialogue
Appreciation and understanding of the psychology of decision making and how psychology is impacting the decisions made within Insurance operations
Strong change and communications experience. Candidates should have the ability to create a change strategy and engage stakeholders to enable the change strategy to take effect.
PRINCE or PMP certification
