Our client, located in South Bend, is looking for an Assistant Manager with a strong collections background, preferably with auto loans.


Responsibilities include:
Performs the duties of a Collector
Conducts regular Call Evaluations with Collectors
Assists with Collector training
Updates Collection Dept. Procedure Manual as needed
Assists Collections Manager with interviewing and evaluating potential employees
Keeps Collection Manager informed daily of any staff or department issues
Assist Collection Manager with monitoring collection calls
Monitors Collection Dept. staff in the Collections Manager's absence and takes action as needed
Assist Collections Manager
Processes Daily Management reports in Collection Manager's absence and follows set procedures
Take customer phone calls transferred from Collectors and attempt to resolve a situation when there is a need for Management intervention
Advises and Assists Collectors with any questions or issues that arises as needed
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent
Required Knowledge: Collection
One year of previous related experience required
Typing or keyboarding experience required
Management experience required
Well organized
Cooperative and willing to assist others
Able to use computer applications and adding machine
Minimum of 6 months of Sub Prime Lending Collection experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
