Position Description:
Under the supervision of the TeleCommunications Supervisor, the TeleCommunications Operator is responsible for processing all external and internal calls via the PBX Attendant Console, efficiently, accurately and courteously, while being in compliance with all OHSI policies & procedures. In addition, they manage all toll call requests, notifications using various communication devices and resources, event logs and other required documentation, emergency communications and OHSI call schedules. Operators provide updated information for the OHSI Directory and other resources.
Position Requirements:
Education:
High School or GED required
Experience:
1 - 3 Years Customer Service, Call Center, Dispatching and/or Clerical / Administrative Experience required
Knowledge, Skills:
Microsoft Office - Proven ability to work, at the very least, with basic or beginner level skills in MS Office applications, like Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. required
Ability to Multi Task and Prioritize - Proven ability to manage multiple activities including call processing, alarm monitoring and notifications, documentation and crisis management required.
Customer Relations - Demonstrate strong verbal & written communications skills including effective listening, comprehension and clear enunciation required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
