Summary
The National Membership Outreach Intern will be a full member of the Outreach team, assisting with copywriting, editing, content inventory and social media efforts for Straight Talk, a web portal for electric cooperative communicators across the U.S. During this experience, the intern will attend staff meetings and contribute to content planning.
Purpose and Mission
Assist with:
Writing articles for Straight Talk
Developing sample social media posts
Creating framework for future projects
Content inventory/clean-up of
Event planning
Requirements and Qualifications
Journalism or Public Relations degree program
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Social media and graphic design skills are a plus.
This is an intern position. A 3.0 or higher GPA is required and candidates must be a rising junior or senior.
Dates: May 19 - August 8, 2014

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
