Intake Coordinator
We are hiring an Intake Coordinator to complete intake screening including obtaining, analyzing, and documenting all referral information. Obtain payer information in a hospital setting.
Will service as point of contact for all aspects of referral / admission process. Acts as telephone liaison interfacing with referral sources, outside agencies, other health care professionals and payer sources. Must communicate with all other departments regarding status of all referrals. Must assist with clinical care with any necessary sub-contracting needs.
Requirements:
- Must have ability to learn and understand reimbursement issues and Medicare guidelines.
- Must have excellent customer service.
- Must be well organized and be able to handle many tasks. Must be computer literate.
- Excellent Medical Terminology
- Experience in Health related fieldEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
