Our Client is looking for a talented front-end engineer to join our exciting, fast-paced, agile development team. The engineering team is responsible for maintaining multiple enterprise-level websites that net millions of users every month, as well as an internal application that supports all aspects of our daily business. You will be responsible for:
Building new functionality and maintaining existing functionality for our public-facing and internal website.
Working with product managers, back-end engineers, and the QA team to see projects through, from conception to completion.
Contributing creative ideas and insight as part of a cross-functional team focused on improving visitor conversion on our website.
Developing and setting up A/B split tests using a variety of testing tools and platforms.
What you'll need to excel in this position:
Expertise in JavaScript, including a solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), AJAX, JSON, and object serialization.
Extensive experience writing elegant, readable, maintainable HTML and CSS, as well as experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
Knowledge of, but not reliant on, JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Underscore, etc.)
Familiarity with JavaScript design patterns (this is important!)
A creative approach to problem solving, innovation, and issue resolution.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with team about code, architecture, and design.
Proven experience building complex, scalable, maintainable, cross-browser-compatible web applications.
Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable code for UI components.
A passion for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences.
An extraordinary team-player attitude!
Bonus:
Mobile development experience
Experience with A/B and multivariate testing concepts and tools
Experience using version control, requirements, and bug tracking systems.
