This position is responsible for Application Support but direct reports to the business. Application Support includes patches, upgrades, etc provided by the vendor. We have SLA's in place which may require this person to be contacted in the middle of the night to work with McKesson IT to get the application restored. We have Dev,Test,Prod environments and follow protocol for UAT and promoting between environments. We have multiple servers, load balancing, nightly backups, as well as disaster recovery. We have multiple real time connectors in place with Experian and other financial services related systems. Additionally we receive nightly extracts from ERP's and CRM's. We also have a DMZ server for customer's to connect to our applications. While these are supported by McKesson IT, this position must be knowledgeable in these areas to communicate issues to McKesson IT and work as part of a team effort to resolve issues. Resolution may include this individual implementing within the application fixes provided by the vendor and/or McKesson IT.
We are looking for a person who is technical but is able to communicate with the business in non technical terms, understand the business needs, and then translate those into technical specifications that are implemented within the application. While these applications have provided system administration and configuration, there are script requirements that will need to have SQL, java, java bean, .net etc. It would be very helpful if we had someone that also could resolve Apache Tomcat issues as McKesson has limited IT resources in this area so it would be great for this position to provide resolution for Apache Tomcat errors.
This position will work with multiple McKesson Business Unit Credit Departments. Within our SunGard GETPAID application for collections, we have multiple Business Unit System Administrators which are responsible for their individual Business Unit collection strategies and user set up. There are specific areas of configuration that the Business Unit Administrators are not permitted to work and instead must coordinate with the Credit Automation team to make a request.
This individual will be working on credit dept workflow processes. McKesson is using HP (Autonomy) products to support credit automation: Liquid Office (BPM) is the software in which we build workflow and forms, Meridio is our repository, and Teleforms is used to index the documents and OCR the data. These 3 products work together to process customer applications = Teleforms to Liquid Office to Meridio. We have workflow processes for customer on boarding, credit approval/review, finance/security documentation, write offs, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
