We are currently recruiting for a direct hire Senior Operations Manager for our client in Gaitherburg MD. The responsibilities for this position include:
1. Manage all Mechanical Manufacturing and Repair Center operations.
2. Ensure production and repair center schedules are met through 5 supervisors.
3. Ensure all quality goals are met and procedures are followed.
4. Ensure departmental and labor budget goals are met.
5. Ensure repair center budget is met.
6. Ensure all areas are meeting 5s requirements.
Working hours: first shift
1. Experience within a lean manufacturing environment with demonstrated results oriented leadership leading to continuous cost, quality and productivity improvement.
2. Demonstrated success with Six-Sigma or other problem solving methodologies in a production/Warranty environment.
3. Knowledge of all aspects of Electronics Manufacturing processes
4. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
5. 8 to 10 years minimum experience in manufacturing management in an electronics environment
6. Bachelor Degree required.
Up to 15% travel may be required for this position
