Accounting Specialist (Corporate Tax Experience A MUST)

Randstad Staffing is recruiting for a growing automotive manufacturing company in WEST POINT, GEORGIA and we are looking for a strong Accounting Specialist (specilizing in Tax) with an accounting degree. This position is NOT a temporary position. This position is a direct hire position in which the employee will be hired on directly by the company. The salary range is $43,000-$58,000 a year plus overtime. It is an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to partner with a great company! JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Approving administrative accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
Processing journal entries.
Assisting in creating departmental budgets and monitoring each departments' budget status.
Preparation of various reports related to expense, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Aid auditors in preparation of quarterly audit.
Participation in month end closing.
Preparation of accounts receivable and accounts payable summaries.
Participation in monthly accrual preparation.
Conducts monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
Performs monthly financial statements.
All other duties as assigned.
Working hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday (some Saturdays may be required)
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
4 year Accounting degree
Knowledge in SAP, ERP, AS400 and Microsoft Office.
Must have a STONG BACKGROUND IN TAX:
- Preparation/Filing of Corporate tax return form 1120
- Knowledge and experience with calculation of 263A adjustment for inventory
- Calculation of Deferred Tax Asset/Liabilities (DTA/DTL)
- GA Job Tax Credit
- Alternative Minimum Tax
Must have stable work history.
