Our client, an innovative company in the manufacturing industry, is currently looking for a Manufacturing Line Supervisor on 1st and 2nd shifts. These openings are due to rapid growth in this company's unique industry.

Working hours: 1st and 2nd shift
Job Duties:
1. Responsible for capacity planning and the maximization of production efficiency, machine utilization and productivity in accordance with the production schedule.
3. Develop and revise, when necessary, standard operational procedures and work practices
4. Interprets product specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties
5. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
6. Determines the needs for factory and production supplies and generates requisitions for these materials
7. Maintains thorough working knowledge of all processes and related equipment. Maintains cognizant of equipment's performance capabilities and immediately identifies maintenance needs and failures to the maintenance department for repairs
8. Responsible for scheduling employees work hours aligned with coater production demands - coaching and management of employees
9. Administers all safety rules and maintains a high standard of housekeeping by keeping work area clean and orderly
Requirements:
3
years of recent, proven experience as a production line manager or supervisor
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment heavily preferred - Experience in Principles of Lean Manufacturing to include - Five S, Kaizen Events (specifically set up reduction), Value Stream Mappings & Kanban System
Strong written and verbal communication skills
