ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
1) Manage accuracy of data into receiving and inventory computer systems
2) Support the receipt of goods to support our customer base
3) Process necessary documents for receiving and shipments of goods
4) Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the shift supervisor
5) Fairly and consistently implement and enforce policies and procedures
6) Hold self and others to a high standard for Safety and Quality
7) Maintain effective customer relationships to ensure satisfaction
8) Participate in and adequately support continuous improvement activities
9) Identify and correct potential safety hazards in the facility
10) Abide by the Company Values at all times
Other Key
Responsibilities:
-Interact with material handlers, drivers, customers and customer service personnel
-Verify accuracy of order requests; process orders and product receipts
-Schedule delivery of inbound containers with carriers
-Process cycle counts; prepare stock status reports
-Manage inventory through data system
Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Warehouse Shipping/ Receiving Clerk requirements:
-High School Diploma
-2 years of office/clerk experience
-Warehouse/ shipping/ receiving experience
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel along with quick and accurate data entry skills
-Excellent customer service and communication rapport
-Familiarity with OSHA regulations a plus
-Basic math and inspection skills
-Reliable work ethic
