JOB DUTIES: Perform SQL development and SSIS packages in a B2B and B2C business connectivity model environment. Utilize knowledge and experience of SQL Server 2005/2008 server configurations. Maintain large databases and support existing custom database applications. Develop new database applications through the complete system development cycle from conception to delivery. Perform SQL code review and perform in code SQL to stored procedure conversion and optimization. Perform database, table modeling, and optimization. Complete system development life cycle process using Agile development framework from conception to delivery. Utilize knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL in developing projects using Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008 and pulling multiple data sources in SQL Server 2005/2008. Utilize experience of building information models, entity relationship models, data flow diagrams, traceability matrixes, and logical and physical data models. Utilize knowledge and experience of SQL development, data replication tools and concepts, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), MySQL, ERWIN modeling tool, DTS packages, stored procedures, SQL code optimization techniques, report generation (Crystal, Excel), data replication, Visual SourceSafe, Optional Visual Basic 6.0/.NET and Agile. Work in a team environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience as a software engineer or programmer analyst OR Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a software engineer or programmer analyst.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENT: Experience must include the following: building information models, entity relationship models, data flow diagrams, traceability matrixes, and logical and physical data models; SQL development, data replication tools and concepts, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), MySQL, ERWIN modeling tool, DTS packages, stored procedures, SQL code optimization techniques, report generation (Crystal, Excel), data replication, Visual SourceSafe, and Agile. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
