Summary:To assist the teacher in daily classroom management and to assist with other school-related operations.
NON-ESSENTIAL
Responsibilities:
May be required to perform duties of lesser, equal or greater responsibility.Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Two years experience working with adolescents in a school setting.
Clerical experience useful not essential.
Good communication skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proven ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
Flexibility in order to teach a changing population which encompasses many grades and academic areas.
Working knowledge of IDEA 97 and IEP procedures.
Expertise in models of behavior management.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Administration may deem appropriate and acceptable.
