Monitors gaming activity; assists in background investigations, internal audits, follow-up and compliance reviews.
Visually monitors gaming activities by patrolling gaming area and routinely evaluating gaming floor through surveillance. Monitors compliance by using internal controls and compliance checklists. Assists in compliance investigations. Performs routine inspections of facilities for safety violations. Conducts fingerprinting and retrieving information for licensing, such as photographs and documentation. Reviews applications for completeness and obtains information needed to complete incomplete applications as well as conducting interviews. Assists the Background Investigators and processes by distributing licenses and ensuring those are disbursed in a timely manner. Notifies surveillance, gaming operations and other appropriate officials with areas of concern and other violations in performance of compliance reviews and checklists. Performs gaming machine compliance verification and oversight of gaming machine access including installation and daily operation of gaming machine systems. Regulates by utilizing Gaming Commission policy to enforce regulations, including reporting and write-ups of violations. Maintains accurate records on gaming machine data, facility data, key control and inventory of sensitive gaming devices. Providing accurate documentation and details in reporting daily to supervisor. Maintains confidentiality. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Associate''s degree from two-year college or technical school; or two years (60 credit hours) course work from four-year college or university; or three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related fields and/or experience are Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Technology, Math, Science, Finance, Legal, Management and experience in Customer Service, Legal, Security, Law Enforcement and/or Gaming including manufacturing gaming experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
An additional two (2) years of experience in a related field.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid driver'' license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirement for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License. Must be able to pass fingerprint training.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have effective oral and written communication skills and working knowledge of gaming rules and regulations. Must possess the ability to analyze and interpret numerical data, maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time, and be able to perform assigned duties in highly interruptive conditions. Must abide by Commission confidentiality policies. Must be able to operate standard office equipment and standard computer software and hardware. Must possess the aptitude to perform fingerprinting.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
