Job Description
The MAGTF Training Systems Support (MTSS) contract will provide the Marine Corps specific training, and Combatant Command sponsored Joint, Combined, and Coalition exercises, which are reviewed annually by specific implementing organizations throughout the Marine Corps. The scope of the MTSS program includes the full spectrum of Marine Corps training exercise and IT support tasks.
The Database Administrator will develop and maintain an asset control database using Microsoft Access or similar product for all computer and network infrastructure equipment and supporting software located within Barrett Hall, Battle Staff Training Facility and at designated deployed sites during MSTP deployed events. Design and maintain accurate and current documentation on MSTP server topology diagrams. Design, integrate, maintain and troubleshoot Structure Query Language (SQL) database instances in the enterprise computing environment in support of day-to-day operations and during deployed events. Integrate, maintain and troubleshoot VMware vSphere Enterprise environment in support of day-to-day operations and deployed events. Develop and present to the government a software configuration management tool, such as a spreadsheet or on-line database through the SharePoint site. This tool shall document the current software baseline for the C2 TECOE and the supported MISTCs.
Job Requirements
Associates degree in an IT discipline, to include Computer Science or MIS. In lieu of an Associate s Degree, at least three years of experience in a professional IT-related role is acceptable.
Microsoft Certified Solution Expert (MCSE): Data Platform, and/or Business Intelligence; formally known as Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA).
At least three to six years of related work experience in IT, which should include successful experience as an enterprise team member.
Documented experience in a Microsoft Windows Server environment is required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with others and senior management.
Required: MS Windows Server Environments, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare vSphere Environments; Desired: MySQL.
Have Secret (SSBI) clearance.
SharePoint certification desired.
