Description
The CB Accounting internship will be a value added member of the Finance Department and will support the general accounting functions within the company. Duties include:
Participate in the month-end closing process
Assist in month-end accrual calculations
Prepare accounting procedure documents
Perform financial analysis as requested
Enter accounts payable vouchers
Prepare invoices/follow up on past due receivables
Research and answer vendor inquiries. Work with the other members of the Operations/HR/Finance team as needed.
Contribute significantly to the implementation of new accounting software
Education and Skills Requirements:
Detail-oriented with problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and under a minimum of supervision.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong skill with Excel spreadsheets
Strong interest in accounting as a career
High school education or above and current enrollment in an applicable degree program in Accounting is required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
