Good day people! I am Chap Grubb - senior at CU Boulder, graduating in May with a major in English and minors in Linguistics and Education. I adore educating other humans about my passions, whether academic or recreational it matters not. My aim is to one day own my own outdoor education facility where children, adults and the elderly could come to understand the importance of wilderness. A favorite quote of mine engrosses my life philosophy, In Wildness is the preservation of the world (Thoreau). Thus inspired my move from Washington State to Colorado territory.
I am running the College Works Painting operation in the Boulder/Louisville area. I am recruiting like-minded painters to work for me this summer RIGHT NOW. I am an employer who obviously searches for employees who are hardworking, motivated and energetic. But that is just so clich d. Everyone applying for a job will own those attributes. I am looking for people who are as personable as me. People who are psyched on life. This is going to be the best summer of my life and I want to be surrounded by individuals that are positive, even at the worst of times.
I am paying $8-$12, INCENTIVE PAY, plus additional performance bonuses. A couple of mandatory prerequisites - you have to be able to buy lottery tickets to apply (18 years old), you must have reliable transportation (no, a bike does not count unless you're Lance Armstrong), you must be looking for FULL TIME WORK (I won't have time to deal with part-time nonsense), and you must be extremely personable (this is a client driven business, so talk to them).
What is preferred, but unnecessary is painting experience. I am an educator and am willing to train compatible prospects to be the best painters in the business.
