This position is responsible for providing Infrastructure support across the organization and in support multiple IT projects. This position is a part of the technical personnel that support the developmental efforts of the Software Development staff. Incumbent assists in the administration of the network(s) including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of LAN and/or WAN and voice, digital, data compression and call center support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs application and OS support for applications and other systems being installed, configured, and administered within infrastructure (including, but not limited to WAS, MQ, Openstack, Cloudfoundry, etc.).
Manage server and storage hardware design and implementation, provision of resources for application development and hosting and end-user technical support.
Monitor systems and provide information and statistics relevant to system capacity limits on data storage, system utilization, etc. to management to mitigate business impact and down time.
Design, install, and support all software and hardware required to provide needed functionality and security.
Provides technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications activities including planning, designing, developing, testing, installing and maintaining large communications networks.
Plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and cost studies.
Develops, operates, and maintains voice, wireless, video, and data communications systems.
Monitors network performance and communicates to management areas of risk and risk mitigation strategies
Ability to stand up a new facility environment to support NewWave requirements (i.e. wireless, hardware, phone, etc.) Performs Root Cause Analysis on outages and other system outages that result in actionable recommendations to prevent mitigate further issues.

Bachelors degree in INSS, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent IT work experience 0 - 3
yrs of related experience.

Preferred Skills
o Windows administration experience or knowledge
o 1 year of Linux and/or Unix administration experience
o 1-3 years of networking experience

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
