ASP.NET SharePoint Developer
The Web Application Developer will work with our clients for designing and developing SharePoint portals/environment and very complex web applications.
In addition to software development, the Web Application Developer will develop appropriate software lifecycle documentation to include, but not limited to metadata and business process dictionaries, functional requirements, technical designs, etc. for customer review and approval.
This position will be a part of a team of application developers who provide high quality code and technical expertise to our customers. Additionally, you will identify and re-engineer areas of existing client applications with the use of new technologies and complete development, testing and staging under aggressive deadlines. This requires strong initiative and a willingness to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Required Skills:
Active Secret or Public Trust Clearance
Demonstrated expertise in ASP.NET, JavaScript, SharePoint, SharePoint Designer and Web Services (a minimum of five years' experience)
Experience using SharePoint Integration services with MS Office software and usage of Web Services (a minimum of five years' experience)
Experience configuring, granting, and controlling access to data and reports using SQL Security, and SharePoint Security.
Knowledge of the development of policy and process for the development advanced business intelligence programs.
Minimum of five years of experience with methodologies for a BI solution implementation.
Must have demonstrated expertise designing databases, tables, procedures, functions using MS SQL 2008/2012
Demonstrated expertise supporting SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Demonstrated expertise designing dashboards and reports using SQL Reporting Service and Excel.
Granting and Controlling Access to Critical Sensitive Data.
Experience implementing, managing, migration, and using encryption techniques.
Incorporate new developments into existing Maintenance Schedules and Disaster Recovery Plans and Procedures.
Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Training Requirements
BI Training - BI training and mentoring
Desired Skills:
HTML5, CSS
Familiarity with Team Foundation Services, MSBuild and Code Branching
Knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs Databases/Files, knowledge of VA Hospital business practices, policies, and regulations.
Knowledge of VA regulations on privacy and security.
